From Venue Manager to Wedding Planner
After more than seven years serving as the Wedding Venue Manager at Camp Retreat, I’m stepping into an exciting new chapter: wedding planning with The Spicer Edit.
During my years at the venue, I oversaw every detail that makes a wedding day come together — from managing the Camp Retreat social media and handling contracts, to leading venue tours, coordinating set-ups, guiding couples, and managing staff. Being involved in every layer of the process gave me a front-row seat to what couples truly need, what vendors appreciate, and what venues require for a seamless day.
This experience shaped the heart of my approach as a planner. I understand how a venue operates behind the scenes, which allows me to communicate clearly, anticipate needs, and bring a level of preparation and calm that only comes from years in the industry.
Now, with The Spicer Edit, I’m honored to use that unique perspective to help brides plan with confidence, ease, and joy. My goal is simple: to create beautifully organized, thoughtfully edited wedding days that feel like you — and to make the entire journey as smooth and memorable as the celebration itself.
